The Importance Of English Language
How many times we find some movie, song, TV commercial or book that we like or we want to watch read or listen to and they are in English Language?Related to the movie, if we are in our country we are going to look for that subtitle movie in our Language, it’s easy; someone else has translated it for us. But who really wants to go to the movie andnot to have to read the subtitles or to know the real name of the movie, for example, the Nightmare before Christmas in Spanish is “el extraño mundo de Jack”. If we look at this example we can`t see anysimilarity.
As we can see, the importance of learning English Language nowadays have taken a significant value and not only for the factors we have mentioned but as a result of globalization thelabor market requires competent people and to know other languages open the doors in this field and allows you to find a better life quality.
In addition to the former ideas, it is important tolearn a second language, because it has to do with the brain activity. It's proven by British scientist that if you learn a second language it helps you to build up your verbal fluency,
As well, someresearches carried out by experts of University College in London shows how bilingual’s people’s brain has more gray matter then monolingual people’s brain. It is because there is a improvement ofthe cognitive functions, attention, perception, memory, intelligence y language.
It is obvious, that the advantages of learning English are positives. If you are a father or mother and if youhaven’t thought about the importance of your kids to learn English, we have to say that you are not thinking about their future. The best time to learn a second language is during their 1st infancy, between 2and 6 years old, when kids are highly sensitive to learn things. So, the sooner, the better.
