The music in general
Introduction
Music is the art of sensible and logically organize a coherent mix of sounds and silences using fundamental principles of melody, harmony and rhythm, through theintervention of complex psychological mood. Music, like any art form, is a cultural product. The purpose of music is to provoke a conscious experience in the listener, and express feelings,circumstances, thoughts or ideas. Music can fulfill various functions entertainment, communication, etc.
Definition of music
According to the composer Claude Debussy, music is "total scattered forces expressedin a sound process that includes: the instrument, the performer, the creator and his work, half propagator and a receiver." The most common definition of music in the manuals is rather like this:"Music is the art of combining sounds well in time." This definition does not stop to explain what art is, and assumes that there are combinations "well done" and others are not, it is at leastdebatable.

Silences and sounds
The music is composed of two basic elements: the sounds and silences.
The sound is the sensation perceived by the ear to receive the pressurevariations generated by the vibratory motion of sonorous bodies. The noticeable absence of sound is silence, although a relative sense, because the silence does not occur in nature.
Sound has four keyparameters:
The height.-Accordingly, it can set sounds as bass and treble The higher the frequency, the sharper or louder the sound.
The time.-Lasting time corresponds to the vibrations that producesound.
The intensity.-Is the force with which a sound occurs, depends on energy.
The timbre.-Is the quality that distinguishes the different instruments or voices even though they are producingsounds with the same pitch, duration and intensity.
