ICT’s in Mexico
Present day
Today the technologies that Mexicans have are so poor. The reason is that 27 million Mexican’s houses have some technologies recourse. The 93% of Mexicans have TV, the48 % have phone, the 20% have computer, and the 10% of the people have connection to internet. So if we have into account this information, we have a lack of TIC’S development in our Mexican educationsystem.
For this and more reasons the government created programs like the EDUSAT that are a system created by the SEP, the ILCE, and the ANUIES. It is focus in develop of investigation andapplication of the TICS for the education, e-learning, virtual conferences, etc.
Some of the programs for that the Mexican education system has are:
EDUSAT, CENTRO NACIONAL DE VIDEOCONFERENCIASINTERACTIVAS, ALIANZA EDUCATIVA, CENEVAL, ETC.
Some programs like TELESECUNDARIA and ENCICLOMEDIA have lack of infrastructure because it does not have the material and the recourses that it’s needed for thecorrect use of TICS. Some of the programs that are mentioned in this essay are support by the privet sector and not for the government. The capacity of building in some areas in Mexico are so poorbecause they do not have electricity if we give them the technological resources, they are not going to work we have to have the correct initiative for the process and be update about develop of it.EDUSAT: it is a program in internet and TV that is relate with ILCE; the purpose of the program it’s to created a link between the modalities and different educational levels, teacher training andrefresher programs, distance education and use of information and communication technologies and non-formal education and training of public servants.
ALIANZA EDUCATIVA: it is a program by internet thatconsists in a classroom equipped with computers, internet and educational programs within the public school facilities in order to:
