Dear George Eliot:

I just write you to wish you good luck in all your activities and future plans, hoping that you got time to read some important things to say toyou in this letter.

I read your last book “Middlemarch” and I think that it´s amazing and interesting, because it has all the characteristics of a typical novel with the sad beginning, thetroubles in the entire story but in the end everything becomes romantic and just perfect. It is also great for entertaining; the character that I like the most it’s Mrs. Dorothea Casaubon, because she is theone who got the sadly story, but never gave up and she continued being so strong. Despite that she takes some bad decisions, she could move on with her life and finally be happy.

I like the waythat everything takes place in the story although it’s sad the way that Mr. Casaubon, Mr. Featherstone and Mr. Raffles died, because they left their stuffs to people that didn’t care about it and theirwills were hated. Talking about Mr. Casaubon, I think that he was awful as a husband, because he made Dorothea’s life harder than ever; something that got all my attention was the little meetings thatthe two lovers had, Dorothea and Mr. Casaubon’s cousin Will Ladislaw.

For me its romantic the way that Dorothea and Will hide their love for each other, and in the end got married no matter theconsequences; this is true love and a good lesson, because they didn’t mind waiting to be with the person they love the most.

But the moment that I really liked was the end when everyone realizedthat they could achieve happiness no matter how much trouble they had in their lives and fighting for what it is important; for example Mrs. Lydgate got married with another doctor when her ex-husbanddied and she was quite wealthy with her four kids.

On the other hand, Dorothea’s baby sister, Celia, got married with Sir James Chettam and they had a little boy which name is Arthur.
