Abstract
Throughout the history of the international policy of the United States, it has been several drastic changes at the base, which have affected the way in which USA operates around the world.
Doing this research about foreign policies was a learning experience for me,I think people should know more about foreign policies specially the history of it. It is interesting to understand why US set up so many international policies. Being one of the world powers US had to come up with policies which will make things easier for the government. Since the Monroe Doctrine until nowadays rules, US policies for internationals had become pretty strict, the US government isafraid of foreigner’s invasion.

Foreign Policy

The Monroe Doctrine
The most notable advancement of American international policy occurred during the Monroe doctrine at the beginning of 1800. (1) He consolidated the improvements during the revolution, expanding the territory with the Louisiana Purchase and the acquisition of Florida, the U.S. concern grew in terms of national security(United States was surrounded by European powers); and Center in slowly removing the last rests of the colonial powers who came from abroad of the continent and keep them away. The decision for America: North, South, Centre and the Caribbean were crucial to the national interests. It resulted in a "strong" policy where the US is considered to be any intervention from a European nation in "America", asan act of aggression against the US. This decision, hidden under the mask of 'ant colonialism', became the justification for the "neo-colonialism" of the United States in Latin America through most of the 20th century.
Manifest Destiny
Although it was a policy that was not publicly announced, "manifest destiny" was the belief that the US had. They were destined by God to take the continent "fromsea to shining sea", founded on racism (slavery of black people and the Removal of native indigenous) as imperialist notions (conquest of all the adjacent kingdoms). This led to the progression of the Republic, (2) protected by the policy of "expansionism" of 1840 which protected the national autonomy and free trade. This policy led to the invasion of Mexico and the conquest of California, Texas,New Mexico, Arizona and parts of: Kansas, Nevada, Wyoming and Oklahoma. With the acquisition of the port of San Diego and San Francisco, and an interstate route across the continent, United States rose to the level of a world power, thanks to the fall of his "neighbor" Southern: Mexico.

The Roosevelt Corollary
At the beginning of the 20th century during the administration of "Teddy" (RoughRider - rider Tozudo) Roosevelt, saw the rise of the Monroe doctrine to the "Roosevelt corollary".(3) From this postscript, the Monroe doctrine was expanded to justify the participation of the United States in the international relations of the Nations of Latin America and the Caribbean. The policy was expanded not only with the threat of invasion by a European power, but also with the opinion of theUnited States that Latin American nation was losing balance or walking inside because instability 'to impotence or chronic failure." In such situations the Roosevelt corollary holds that; the United States has the right to "exercise international political power."(4)
This allowed the United States to create false disturbances to knock down the Colombian Government, and also to create theRepublic of Panama and build the channel in the "new" nation, acquiring the rights life of the same, but transferred to the ninety-nine years. It also led to the United States to establish a base military in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, while distributed Havana to the mafia and the control of the island to the American sugar monopoly; all at the same time sent to the so-called U.S. Mariners to el Salvador,...
