QUESTIONS
1. How was his childhood life?
His childhood life was hard, since he had to work with his father out in the field plowing the land. He leaveschool in the 7th grade in order to help his family's failing farm. It was difficult to him see his family in that conditions.

2. What was a Carlaspiration?
Carl aspirations were overcome himself and don’t end up like his father. He wanted to be a diver of the USA navy.

3. Describe how was his life?Well, since Carl was little he was always working and he was very fighter. His life was miserable because he was poor & black. At that time the racism was verystrong. He had many dreams to fulfill. When he arrived to the navy everyone treat him like nothing and as he haven’t no value. Thanks to his courage heoverpasses every step and every obstacle. It doesn’t was easy but like I said he was a fighter man.

4. What happened to Carl that changes his career?
On amission to find a missing atomic bomb, Brashear was aboard helping out in the mission. When the bomb is found they try to pull it up on the boat but theweight of it caused the wires to break and accidently head to one on the men on the boat, Brashear rapidly jumped in the way to save the man. His sacrificecost him a leg.

5. What did he do to recuperate his marine career?
To recuperate his career he started training for recover himself of the incident andlater he received help from Billy to prove that he could be a diver with a fake leg. He completes 12 steps with the diving equipment in front of the court.
