Influencia de diversos tratamientos térmicos en la microestructura de una fundicion blanca con alto contenido encromo*

Resumen
En este trabajo de investigación se ha pretendido optimizar el tratamiento térmico de una fundición blanca alta en cromo, con elpropósito de obtener un producto con una elevada dureza (resistencia al desgaste). Para ello, se ha cuantificado y justificado el efecto de la variación de las temperaturas de mantenimiento en las diferentesfases de su tratamiento térmico (revenidos simples y dobles, por un lado, y temple más uno y dos revenidos, por otro) sobre la microestructura y la dureza del citado material. Se ha demostrado lanecesidad de realizar el tratamiento completo de temple, seguido de dos revenidos con objeto de obtener las propiedades óptimas del producto. Tratamiento térmico. Influence of different heat treatments on the microstructure of a high chromium white cast iron
Abstract
The aim of this research work was the heat treatmentoptimization of a high chrome white cast iron in order to obtain a final product with a high hardness (wear resistance). The effect of modifying the maintenance temperature during the differentphases of the heat treatment (simple and double temperings and quenching followed by one or two temperings) on the microstructure and hardness of this product was evaluated. The necessity of performing thewhole heat treatment, a quenching and a double tempering, was demonstrated in order to obtain the optimal properties of the product. Heat treatment.
