INTRODUCTION
The school is in constantly changing and must be adapted to every age, for example, currently is not very usual the traditional education.
The school is what we call a specialized ideological apparatus, because itsfunction is related to the transmission, preservation and promotion of culture, which favors our integration in a given society.
Theories about the types of educations allow us to know the positions of teachers and students who typically have at the time of giving and taking classes.
Then we will see 4 types of educations traditional, modern, technocratic and technologic education, theircharacteristics, the teacher and student role and their evaluation and activities.
TRADITIONAL EDUCATION
The chief business of traditional education is to transmit to a next generation those skills, facts, and standards of moral and social conduct that adults deem to be necessary for the next generation's material and social success. As beneficiaries of this scheme, which educational progressivist JohnDewey described as being "imposed from above and from outside", the students are expected to docilely and obediently receive and believe these fixed answers. Teachers are the instruments by which this knowledge is communicated and these standards of behavior are enforced.
Teacher and student roles
Teacher:
* It’s the center of the teaching and education.
* Is he who organizes the lifeclass and activities.
* The teacher is the star and use the expository method, he is the only one who talks in class. It's like a race to see who wins and who loses.
* The teaching method is based on competition and hierarchy.
* Obedience and strict adherence to the textbook.
* Students just memorize and repeat.

Student:
*It has little margin to think and elaborate knowledges.
* Memorization is required.
* here is no proper development of theoretical thinking.
* It has a passive role.
Activities and evaluation

MODERN EDUCATION
(PROGRESSIVE, NEW)
The new school defends the idea that education should be based on the interests and needs of students should be taught the theory linked to practice. In educational practice freedom is especially important for the activity that may arise, creativity, autonomy, spontaneity,research and observation.
Teacher and student roles
Teacher:
* The teacher’s function changes on comparison with traditional school.
* It’s based on psychology
* Aims to develop the creative abilities of the child.
* The observation of children to understand their concerns and needs.
Student:
* It’s related with life.
* The main figure is the student.
* The studentassumes the role of researcher.
* For the development of educational practice exist a self-discipline.
Activities and evaluation
The evaluation tests. It consists of a series of oral or written questions answered by the student, individually or in teams, and it guides the direct observation of teaching respect for the everyday behavior of students. It evaluates the cognitive, socioaffective development.
Building activities and improvement. Activities to be performed by students when they have not reached the expected accomplishments at the end of the development of a guide or at the end of the unit.
