Simulation Comparison

There are many similarities and differences between the simulations of water, sound, and light. They all are waves because they have crests, troughs, wavelength, amplitude, and etc. They transport energy to a different location. However, some waves can be considered as both a wave and a particle. Each simulationhas their own characteristics.
Light and Sound have similarities and differences. The similarities between light and sound waves are that they both can haveinterference, diffraction, and refraction. Differences between them is that Light doesnt requiere a medium to travel but sound does. Light travels faster than sound travels . Sound isa longitudinal wave and light is transverse.
Water waves have similarities and differences with both light and sound waves. Water waves require two media; air andwater, while light waves don't require a medium and sound waves require one. Water are both longitudinal and transverse. As a wave travels through the waver, the particles travelin clockwise circles. Sound waves are only longitudinal and light is transverse.
Other differences and similarities between these three waves include wavelength.Light waves have a greater wavelength than sound and water waves. All these waves are similar because they reflect, refract, and diffract at the boundary. They interfere whicheach other when added together and disperse according to their frequency.
All of the simulations include water, sound, and light waves. They are all alike becausethey're obviously waves. They have similar properties such as amplitude, wavelength, frequency, and speed. They have similar and different characteristics between each other.
