Throughout the movie, the main character, Jeremy Irvine, as Albert Narracot, was a farm boy with a passion for a young horse the first time they met. His father, Ted Narracot, bought it at an auctiondespite recommendations for a better and stronger horse. On the other hand, this meant that he could not pay his rent to the land lord. Ted makes a promise that his going to meet the deadline topay, but for this, he had to plant turnips to sell them and make money. Albert, knowing the financial situation of his family, takes lead on training the horse, now named Joey, to plough the fields. Butthen, a rainstorm destroyed the field, and they could not sell the turnips in order to pay the landlord, consequently, Ted had to sell the horse to the military without his son, Albert, knowinganything about it. After the sad goodbyes between Albert and Joey, the horse, Joey is transferred to a military based for further training.

The horse is put to do arduous work in the military, but oneday, the boys that were in charge of Joey, left him inside a windmill. Some military leaders noticed that some horses were missing, so they went out to find them. They found the boys, but not thehorses, so they killed them. One day a girl found the horse and took him, Joey, to her house. She takes care of Joey for some time and teaches him to jump over obstacles. One day she went out to ride himand the military sees her and kills her, so they obviously take the horse back. Right back with the first owner, Albert, He was in the military too, to try and find his horse back. After both having aharsh life in the military they reunite in a camp where Joey is treated for a bad leg. Then at the end, they both (Joey and Albert) came back home and Albert’s parents where there to receive him.Now the question is: Do I recommend this film? Absolutely yes because is a love story and I like this kind of movies. This film represents how important are the animals in our life and the way we...
