Indigenous Wayus

The Wayus or peasants (the Arawak peasant, sir, powerful man, self Wayuu) 3 arenatives of the Guajira Peninsula on the Caribbean Sea, inhabiting territories of Colombia and Venezuela, regardless of borders between the two countries South Americans.



Geography

Location of ethnicity.

The Wayus inhabit the arid Guajira Peninsula in northern Colombia and northwestern Venezuela, on the Caribbean Sea. Presents some seasons marked by a first rainy season, called Juyapu, which develops during the months of September toDecember, followed by a dry season, known as Jemial, which runs from December to April.
