Steps on How to Test Your Own WD TV Live Hub Theme Package
1. Extract your theme package (e.g., Legacy.theme). After extraction, you’ll findmultiple XML files that represent UI (user interface) pages. A special ‘meta.xml’ file (required to build a complete theme package) containsdescriptions for this theme. Other XML files define the optional UI page layouts, which if missing, the system will automatically use the defaultXML files.

2. Connect to your WD TV Live Hub that you wish to test your theme package with.

3. Open a shared folder called ‘.wd_tv’ insideof WDTVLiveHub. (Note: If you cannot find the ‘.wd_tv’ folder, you’ll need to modify the Windows

file manager properties to show files thatare hidden.)

4. Inside the ‘.wd_tv’ folder, you should find a folder called “theme” (if not, please create it on your own). Copy all theextracted files from step 1 into a folder of your new theme. Please make sure to copy all the extracted XML files as well as the subfolders. Note:the name of the theme needs to match what you have specified in the meta.xml file.

5. You may also find all of the UI icons inside of the”Legacy\image” theme folder. If you have modified the UI icons, you can copy or replace the icons inside.

6. Then, to test your theme package onthe WD TV Live Hub, use the remote control and navigate to Setup > Appearance > User Interface Themes to set the new theme (‘Legacy’).
