B: Really? What’s the best time of year to visit?
A: I think the best season to visit is in summer or winterbecause of warm weather.
B: What’s the weather like then?
A: In summer is really hot and in winter is warm and comfortable but you shouldn’t go in Augustor September because it rains almost all the time.
B: What should tourists see and do there?
A: Well you must visit Tanina, Banampak and Yaxchilanbut in my personal opinion the most beautiful place to visit is Palenque. You can also visit the Parque Nacional Cañon Del Sumidero and Lagunas deMontebello and it´s important to visit the shops to see the handcrafts and above all the markets that are really traditional and typical of Chiapas.
B: Whatspecial foods can you eat?
A: You can try Mixiote; tamales fill with lizard meat, exotic fruit such as tunas, guanábana and jiricaya; in my personalopinion the gastronomy of Chiapas is really extensive and delicious.
B: What’s the shopping like?
A: It´s very traditional because you can visit the littlemarkets scattered all over the magic town of San Cristobal de las Casas and you will find thousand different goods to buy.
B: What things should peoplebuy?
A: Well you can buy traditional food such as cheese, bread, candies, etc.; and also handcrafts and necklaces, rings and many other things.
B: Whatelse can visitors do there?
A: Visitors can also go mountain climbing, hiking, horse riding, swimming and they can go on excursions to the jungle.
