What are the arguments for and against young adults living at home?

The main reason to leave our parents’ house is because you want freedom andyou are amazed about the idea of going out all night, being awake until late, going to parties every weekend, arranging your own house in your ownstyle and not being controlled. Nevertheless, there are a lot of things to consider if you are going to leave your parents’ house or not. So whatare the arguments for and against young adults living at home?

First of all, living at home as a young adult gives you support from yourparents, free food, no need to pay rent and a good way to save some money which you can use it to pay your career. On the other hand, living at home stopsyou from becoming responsible for yourself, and there is a lack of privacy and freedom.

Secondly, living at home gives you lots of free timefor studying, having fun and doing what you want because you do not have to wash the dishes, do the laundry, do the vacuuming and cook. Well, youhave to help your parents but you do not have to do everything. But in spite of this, living alone is something important to get experience andbecoming independent.

To conclude, from my perspective, living at home with your parents is not as bad as it seems. Personally, I feel that youshould live with your parents while you are studying, and then when you finish the career, you can get a house on your own or with someone else.
