Falkon:
It is a bird of prey and scavenger relatively large. Measured 61 centimeters, neck, wings and legs are more or less long. Crown and crest are black, the rest of the head is white, andacquires a black Barrat neck and becomes solid black in most of the body and wings. The face is bare and the wax is orange or red. The beak is white and the legs are yellow.
Its nest is madeof sticks, straw and reed stems, located on top of a palm or tree. They lay 2 or 3 white eggs with brown, reproduced from December to March.
They eat small dead animals and snakes, frogs, rodents andpigeons from nests.
They like to habit open areas, savannas, grasslands, cultivated areas, scrub, beaches and forest edges. Rarely seen in Costa Rica because they are from the southern United Statesto Tierra del Fuego and the Malvinas Islands.
Black Vulture:
It is a large bird measuring 64 cm and weighs 1.8 kg. It plumage is black, the head is black, featherless and wrinkled and the legsare gray.
Their nests are on the ground, under rocks and ferns and bromeliads. They put 2 eggs grayish-green with brown spots, from November to March

They like to be around villages and open sites. We can find them from the coast to the high mountains of the country. Some ofthem may be migratory. They are located from the eastern and southern of the United States to central Chile and Argentina.

This snake is small or medium with 70 cm long. The headis pointed, cylindrical body, short tail, have scales. It has varied colors (yellow, green, gray, brown or pink).
Give birth their calves fully developed; they can have 20 babies per calving.They eat lizards, small mammals and birds. It lives in trees and is active at night.
