HOmecoming Parade
To make students feel at home.
At the Homecoming parade, the school band of Valle de Sol came and gave us an outstanding performance. Then after that they did a dance of thecentury. The whole school was excited for these performers. After the king and queen came in Miss Madelyn Hernandez lime green small car, then they were announced King and Queen by Miss Patty,they were Eduardo Castillo and Triana Curruchiche, and the king had to shoot some baskets and sadly didn’t make one. The we had few basketball matches, first it was 5th grade against 6th grade boys,it was a battle to the end and 6th grade won 8 - 4, and then it was 5th grade girls vs. 6th girls, and also a battle to the end, 6th grade 6 – 4. After it was the school’s basketball team against themale Teachers, the school team came up short 20 – 19 by one point, then it was the female match, and the teachers won! It was a big day for the school, as we were welcome. They sold good food, likenachos and cheese, hot dogs & pizza, like always.

Un díase reunieron los caballeros más fuertes de toda la región…
El más fuerte se quedaría con la doncella del castillo.
Muchos hombres fueron diciendo ser el más fuerte de la región.
Fueron alrededorde 200 hombres de los cuales pasaron 40
Hicieron una competencia de fuerza, velocidad y resistencia.
Esos 40 hombres se enfrentaron y de ahí salieron 20 y después 10 hasta que quedaron solamente 5hombres. Ellos definitivamente eran los más fuertes de la región. Ellos eran:
1. Thomas: era veloz, muy preciso y con muy buena puntería
2. Steven: era muy fuerte, aunque no muy rápido
3. Harry: eraveloz y fuerte
4. Peter: era veloz, fuerte y sin puntería
5. Mark: era fuerte pero un poco lento
Thomas: yo soy el más fuerte merezco ganar
Steven: puras mentiras yo soy el que va a ganar...
