I Very Like This Essay

I grew up in Honduras, a country in which only Spanish is spoken. When I was 4 years old my parents enrolled me in a bilingual school. I felt very excited to learn the ABC in English, as well asthe numbers. By the time I was in third grade I was able to manage English as a second language. From that moment on, I became obsessed with English; I would only watch English movies, sing inEnglish, speak English with my classmates and try to teach English to persons who did not know about it. I was able to even think in English. English is now the language in which I like to express myself.And I have come to realize that I like to use English as an inspiration for poems, quotes and for my daily life reflections.
One of the words I like the most from the English language is faith.Faith is the base of a person’s life. A person can try to achieve whatever they want, but without faith nothing is possible. Believing in yourself and believing you are able to succeed in somethingis what takes you to success. Without faith in ourselves and our capacity we would not be able to do the things we do on a daily basis. I think faith is one of the most important characteristics ona human beings. Sometimes the mind is able to control things beyond its power, and this is what I call faith.
People tend to think courage is only about being strong in things people believe youare most weak in. In my personal opinion courage is the ability we have as human beings to surpass all of our fears, dangers and intimidations in our personal lives. Courage is what will determinehow you will live your life. Many people have personal fights within themselves and the only way to confront this is through courage. Courage will even take you to a place in which you will be ableto express yourself, without hurting others. For all of these reasons courage is one of my favorite words; it not only defines itself as a word, but it also defines they way I like to live my life.
