Abortion a good or bad decision

There is a growing problem with abortion now in Mexico. Abortion is the premature exit of the products of conception (the fetus, fetal membranes, and placenta) from the uterus. It is the loss of a pregnancy and does not refer to why that pregnancy was lost. This method began in Greece. It was used to regulate the size of the population and to keep stable thesocial and economic conditions. Plato recommended the abortion to women who were between 40 and 50 years. Aristotle was holding that the fetus turns into 'human being' to 40 days of his conception. Nowadays, the abortion is a problem due to the fact that even it is not legal in the whole Republic and women must travel up to the Federal District to be able to do an abortion. Conapo (National Councilof the Population) gives us the following statistics of why women abort in Mexico: 88 % is catholic, 26 % does not have children, 50 % has from one to four children, 26 % have from 16 to 20 years, 34 % economic reasons, 12 % for conjugal problems, 5 % have problems of health, 16 % is illiterate, 44 % did not finish the primary school. Now this leads to an important question, it is good ideamake an abortion? This essay will discuss both sides of this controversial issue, and give 3 reasons why the abortion is a good decision.

Abortion might be considered to be a bad choice. Basing on ," Silent No More ", an organization of women who have personally experienced abortions. They want to make others aware of the devastating effects of abortion. They make some estatistics of how bad isan abortion:
*64% of women who have abortions feel pressured by others. Coercion can escalate to violence, even murder.
*52%feel rushed; 54 % are not at all sure about the decision at the time of their abortions.
*31% of women suffer health complications after abortion; 10% suffer immediate complications, 20% of which are life-threatening.
*Women have a 65% higher risk of clinicaldepression after abortion than women who give birth.
*65% suffer multiple symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder after abortion.

On the other hand, abortion is a good choice for 3 reasons:
*First, the teenagers that get pregnant are about 45 % of the population .The 20% abort and the other 25 % do not abort. Those that do not abort end up by leaving the school. Her family does not supporther, besides that she does not have money for the child. In conclusion they do not give a good future to the child.

*Also, it prevent the birth of a child with birth defects or severe medical problems. Such defects are often unknown until routine second-trimester tests are done.

*Finally, Mabel Bianco, the holder of the Foundation for the Study and Investigation(Research) of the Woman (FEIM).Affirms that abortion is not bad. Due to the fact that if someone violates a woman. She has the whole right to abort. Because abortion is legal and she was deprived of her human rights on having been violated.

In my opinion abortion is a very controversial topic. Due to the fact that if you are very catholic, your church and your family will judge you to much. They will not speak to you andwill tell you that you will go to the hell.But also if a woman is going to be judged. It is necessary to know why she done an abortion. Since there are many reasons why she did not want to have a son:
*It was product of an abuse.
*The baby comes with deformities.
*Did not have money to support him
*Was a girl who even have finish high school and was not going to be able to provide a goodfuture for the baby.

I think that depending on the circumstance of the woman it will be conciderated a good choice making an abortion. A good example, is that in Mexico the population is bad informed and the women are pregnant in a frequent way. Basing on the information of the INEGI.
