Abstract
The point of this paper is to present Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs. This pyramid of needs was presented in 1943, where Maslow suggests that people are motivated to fulfill basic needs before moving on to other, more advanced needs. The pyramid consists of basic needs such as physiological, safety, love/belonging, esteem and self-actualization needs. The basic premise behind thishierarchy is that we are born with certain needs. By following the Abraham Maslow needs pyramid, you can achieve the things you need to get done. It lays out a path for you, so that you know what to focus your time on.  As you Maslow believes that we should study and cultivate peak experiences as a way of providing a route to achieve personal growth, integration, and fulfillment. Peak experiencesare unifying, and ego transcending, bringing a sense of purpose to the individual and a sense of integration. Individuals most likely to have peak experiences are self-actualized, mature, healthy, and self-fulfilled. All individuals are capable of peak experiences. Those who do not have them somehow depress or deny them. Succeed at each level you can move upwards until all your needs aresuccessfully met.

The term motivation is derived from the Latin word movere, meaning, "to move." Motivation is the push of the mental forces to accomplish an action or goal willingly without being forced or told to do so. It is an unsatisfied need that drives human behavior to exert effort to reach the goals. For example we study because we lack of knowledge; we work because we lack of money. We will inturn be motivated by what we lack of. Even though not necessarily does it help people, feeling motivated towards needs, is important to feel secure and accomplished. Abraham Maslow developed a theory based on each of us feeling motivated by needs. His hierarchy of needs helps to explain how needs help to motivate us.
Abraham Harold Maslow was born on April 1, 1908 in Brooklyn, New York. He wasthe oldest of seven children born to his parents, who were uneducated Jewish immigrants from Russia. His parents, wanting the best for their children in the new world, pushed him hard in his academic studies. In order to satisfy his parents, Maslow studied law at the City College of New York. After a few semesters in college he married, later moving to Wisconsin. Where he attend the University ofWisconsin and studied psychology. Then receiving his BA in 1930, his MA in 1931, and his PhD in 1934, all in the field of psychology, at the University of Wisconsin.
Abraham Maslow introduced the hierarchy of needs on his 1943 paper “A theory of Human Motivation”. This hierarchy suggests that people are motivated to fulfill basic needs before moving on to other, more advanced needs. The lowestlevels of the pyramid are made up of the most basic needs, while the more complex needs are located at the top of the pyramid. The pyramid consists of basic needs such as physiological, safety, love/belonging, esteem and self-actualization needs. He believed needs are rather similar to instincts and play a role in motivational behavior. Maslow divided these needs in two groups deficiency needsand growth needs. Deficiency needs meaning that these needs arise due to deprivation. Including physiological, security, social and esteem. In contrast, growth needs is the highest level of the pyramid including self-actualization. This meant that growth needs came forward as a desire to grow as person. “Maslow wrote that people who have these needs fulfilled should be happier than those who don't”(Hindustan Times).
The basic premise behind this hierarchy is that we are born with certain needs.  Without meeting these initial needs, we will not be able to continue our life and move upward on hierarchy.  This first level consists of our physiological needs, or our basic needs for survival.  Without food, water, sleep, and oxygen, nothing else in life matters.
Once these needs are met, we...
