ALBERT EINSTEIN
German born American Physicist, awarded a Nobel, famous as the author of the general theory of relativity and its assumptions about the particle nature of light. It is probably themost famous scientist of the twentieth century.
He was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Württemberg, Germany, and spent his youth in Munich, where his family owned a small machine shop electrical. At avery young showed exceptional curiosity for nature and a remarkable ability to understand complex mathematical concepts. At twelve he already knew the geometry of Euclid.
At the age of 15, when hisfamily moved to Milan, Italy, because of successive failures in business, Einstein quit school. He spent a year with his parents in Milan and traveled to Switzerland, where he finished high school, andjoined the National Polytechnic Institute of Zurich.
For two years Einstein worked by tutoring and substitute teacher. In 1902 got a steady job as an examiner in the Swiss patent office in Bern.

In 1898 he met the only physics student at thePolytechnic Institute in Zurich, Mileva Maric, who fell deeply in love. In 1902, Albert and Mileva had a daughter named Liserl following year the young couple married in 1904 and gave birth to her secondson, Hans Albert.
In the 20s, Einstein was recognized worldwide for his theories, but the most debated was his theory of relativity, which was treated by scientists in popular lectures and texts.
Duringhis last years, the scientist worked on a project where we tried to integrate the four fundamental forces, a task that was unfinished.
Einstein suffered internal bleeding caused by a rupturedabdominal aneurysm orta, physicist refused surgery, saying: 'I want to go when I want. It is tasteless to prolong life artificially. I've done my part, it is time to go. I'll do it in style.
