He was born in London the 11 October of 1885. was a medical and policy argentina, leading figure of the feminism and thesocialism. Since the early years of the 20th became involved in claims for greater rights for women. In 1902, together with a group of companions, founded the Center Socialist feminist and the FemaleTrade Union .
He devoted himself to organizing conferences in the light society, founded the Popular Ateneo along with his father and it was in the newspaper editorial Secretary New humanity. In 1914,graduated as a doctor and, a few years later, acceded to the Socialist Party and married the politician Juan B. Justo .
For 1918 he had already founded the national feminist Union and after thedeath of her husband in , 1928, continued in politics and women's advocacy. In 1932, drew up a draft law which established the women's suffrage, which was not finalised until 1947. Supported to the SecondSpanish Republic in the Civil War and was a regular critic of the Peronism, which judged as undemocratic. In , 1958, participated in the division of the Socialist Party and the foundation of theArgentine Socialist Party, occupying the address of the journal La Vanguardia. Continued working until his last years, being one of the founding members of the APDH in 1975
He died at the age of 100,while sleeping, the May 12 of 1986 in Buenos Aires
