HabitatMost primates live in tropical or subtropical regions. They are native to Central America, part of North America, South America, Africa, small parts of the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. All but someare partly arboreal (tree dwelling). All species have adaptation for climbing trees.

The primate lineage goes back at least 65 million years ago. That’s at least 10 to 15million years after dinosaurs became extinct.
