The Global Warming
Global warming is an increase of the average temperature of the earth's surface, considered as a symptom and a consequence of climate change.
Effects of Global Warming:The global average temperature between 1850 and 2005 increased by about 0.76 ° C. It projects a further increase of 1.4 ° C to 5.8 ° C in 2100.
The arctic ice thickness in late summer / early falldecreased
around 40%.
The global average sea level rise of 12-22 cm over the past century.
Global warming is caused by factory pollution, poaching, indiscriminate felling of trees and theexploitation of natural resources. Also the principal source of pollution for the carbon dioxide emissions are power generation plants based on coal, since emitted 2,500 million tons per year. The secondleading cause, are cars emit about 1,500 million tons of CO2 per year.
How to prevent:
-Reducing pollution in the vehicle exhaust catalysts used;
-Use the most natural lighting within the homeenvironments;
-Use low energy lamps;
-Reduce the use of fossil fuels
-Use clean and advanced techniques in agriculture to avoid carbon emissions.
Global warming is causing irreversibleconsequences:
-The melting of glaciers;
-More severe droughts causing water shortages;
-Deforestation increases or raises deserts;
-Hurricanes, cyclones, warming makes that more water evaporates from theoceans promoting these types of disasters;
