Literature Review of Channel Management / Demand Networks

Detailed Mapping of a Distribution Channel / DemandNetwork for one product

All copies must be submitted electonicallythrough moodle. A hard copy must be submitted to the project box in the business school by 5pm , 21st of December.

You are required to pick a marketing channel / supply chain from the real world and map it. This will involve oberserving the channel or supplychain through visiting an organisation. The assignment is made up of two parts


Part A. 20% - Guidelines – 2000 words max

You are required to write an essaydescribing channel management and demand networks. You are required to carry out a review of literature in this area and to describe how a channel / supplynetwork works.


Part B. 30% - Guidelines – no more 10 pages

You will pick a channel / supply chain from the real world and map it out. In mapping out thechannel or supply chain you should include both diagrams and descriptions of the activities included in your map.

Please note that the channel or supply chainmust be from a real organisation that you are familiar with or have made yourself familiar with. This may involve interviews or observing the workings of the channel
