The asthma is one of the most popular illnesses that affects nowadays childhoods. It’s caused mostly for the environment.

In this work Iwant to give you some information about what causes the asthma, how many types exist and how does the asthma affect the patient behavior. Because these are most interesting questions that people want to be answered.

With this testimony I’ll be glad to contribute to the knowledge we have about the asthma and help you know what interests you about it. Because who doesn’t want to know what is theasthma about.

If you are asthmatic or you have a relative who it is, it is very important to know a little more about asthma. There are a lot of important reasons why people should find out more about this illness. This project will highlight three of the most important facts:

• Asthma causes.
• Varieties of asthma.
• Effects on patients.

Anyone could have asthma even littlebabies and teenagers. The asthma could be hereditary or by allergies. The factors that can trigger an asthma attack depend on each person. Among the more common triggers, there are the exercises, allergies, viral infections, smoke or dust.

Usually you can notice two kind of asthma. The allergic type or extrinsic happens when the environment contains elements such as pollen, dust, fungus, smoke, cigarette, etc. And the other type is intrinsic caused by a high hyperactivity or sensibility of the bronchus that react to strong smells, fresh air or dry, the dampness, physical exercise, strong emotions, etc...

The behavior of an asthmatic patient seems to affect with damage on the lungs. This damage causes restrictions as physical as social for them and it could cause a high grade ofstress.

To summarize, as a result of an excessive increase of pollution in the world, more people are affected by this illness especially babies, which causes a decrease on our health. Learning about the asthma is very important to prevent asthma attacks and to know how to help people when they need it.

I found this topic very interesting because more and more kids are suffering this illness, like me, and it is very important to know how to prevent it and react when this happens. I have learned what causes it, and to control it but at the end of this project I still have a lot of doubts like why this illness doesn’t have a cure?
