BIOGRAPHY OF CLAUDIA LARS
Claudia Lars, pen name of the Salvadoran poet Margarita del Carmen Brannon Vega, born in 1899 in the city of Armenia, Sonsonate.
His Irish-born father and Salvadoran mother, entrusted his early education at a recognized educator.
Subsequently continued in the city of Santa Ana At the age of twenty years he published his first poems and then
he settled in New Yorkwhere he married in 1923. He lived some years in Costa Rica, Mexico and Guatemala,
and only until 1946 and separated from her husband, returned home where he lived until his death in 1974.

BIOGRAPHY OF ROQUE DALTON

Roque Dalton Garcia (San Salvador, May 14, 1935 - May 10, 1975)was a poet, novelist, and essayist Salvadoran.
Son of U.S. immigrant Winnall Dalton, who was married to Aida Ulloa, and nurse Maria Josefa Garcia Salvadoran Roque Dalton was educated by the Jesuits at the College of San Jose Externado. He traveled to Santiago de Chile in 1953, to study law, but returned to San Salvador to continue his studies. In 1957, with other Salvadoran students visited theUSSR to participate in the World Festival of Youth and Students for Peace and Friendship. During which he met intellectuals and politicians who then charged at the international relevance, as the Nicaraguan revolutionary Carlos Fonseca, founder of the FSLN, the Guatemalan poet who won the Nobel Prize years later, Miguel Angel Asturias, the Argentine poet Juan Gelman and Turkish poet Nazim Hikmet.Roque was killed by his own colleagues in the People's Revolutionary Army (ERP), the guerrilla movement to which he belonged at that time, along with the worker Armando Arteaga









BIOGRAPHY OF ALBERTO MASFERRER
Vicente Alberto Masferrer Monico, was a teacher, philosopher, journalist, essayist, poet and Salvadoran politician born July 24, 1868 in Joy (formerly Tecapa), Usulutan anddied in exile on September 4, 1932 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
