Black & White
White color comes from the combination of all existing colors or primary colors (red, green and blue), except the black one. On the other hand is Black color which doesn´t comefrom any color, because is known as the “light´s absence”, it means, there is nothing of white color in black one.
Both of them have a symbolism. Sometimes they mean the same, but sometimes not.For example, White color in some countries of the world represents purity; in Catholicism, the color of the dress of the wife represents purity, too, the reason why the Papa or priests wear whiteclothes; also, white color represents peace; in other cases, people wear white color like symbol of mourning.
As well, Black color in many parts of the world is considered as the color of theelegance, prestige, seriously and authority. In contrast with White color, Black represents purity of darkness, evil and death. Also, it represents something secret, unknown or deep; the anarchism uses it;the gothic culture uses this color as their symbol; and sometimes is considered as the representation of splendor and power of devil.
The use of White color is not similar to use of Black one. Forinstance, the white can use to communicate simplicity in the promotion of high-tech products; It is a color that fits for charitable organizations; It is associated with hospitals or doctors so itcan use therefore to suggest or to advertise medical products, or that they are directly related to health; also, It is often associated with the weight loss, low-calorie products and dairy products.Differs from White, Black color is use to call things in a different way. For example, a “black list” to detail people or institutions that are undesirable; or to represents evil things like forexample: Death, devil, demons, bad thoughts, bad dreams, darkness, sins or impurity; or the highest rank in some martial arts.
Both colors (Black and White) are used to refer to opposing positions.
