A forest is an area with a high density of trees. Forests cover large areas of the globe and function as habitats for animals. In the world thereare five countries with the largest forest area: Russia, Brazil, Canada, the U.S. and China. There are several endangered forests and extrinsion due to logging, road production, house etc.
