The purpose of this Project is to found out whats is thehottes part of the Bunsen Burner´s flame by putting the a Beaker at different position of the Bunsen Burner.
I believe that the hottes part of the Bunsen Burner is When you put he beaker at the base ofthe flame.
The Bunsen Burner has different ways to produce a a flame like the normal one color flame and the two color flame (two cones.) It could be done by the mixing gas with air and to movingbarrel to obtain the flame that you want.
List of Materials:
1. Apron
2. Safety Googles
3. Gloves
4. Striker
5. Bunsen Burner
6. Ring Stand
7. Wire Gauze8. Thermomiliter
9. Graduated cylynder
10. Beaker
11. Ring Clamp
Procedure
1. Put on Your apron and googles.
2. Add 100 mL of wáter to the graduated cilynder.3. Put the ring clamp in the ring stand.
4. Put the wire gauze over the ring stand.
5. Turn on the thermometer
6. Connect teh Bunsen Burner to the gas.
7. Carefully open the gas.8. Use the Stiker and create a big spark to turn on the Bunsen Burner during the gas is coming out.
9. Adjust the barrel until you get a two cones.
10. Put the water from the cilynderinto the beaker.
11. Make sure that are exactly 100mL of water.
12. Carefully put the Bunsen Burner on the ring stand.
13. Move the ring clamp as how it is indicated.
14. Put thebeaker on the wire gauze.
15. Leave the water heat 2 minutes.
16. After the 2 minutes put he themomether in the water without touching the glass of the beaker.
17. Start recording thetemperature of the water every 15 seconds until you get to 120 seconds.
18. Put on Your gloves on and carefully dropout the water and add new water (100mL)
