Johnson and Johnson crisis case: this case is about the Tylenol aspirins. They used to be the number ones pain killers in the world. Unfortunately, atthat point one individual succeeded in lacing the drug with cyanide. Seven people died as a result, and a widespread panic ensued about how widespread the contamination might be.

The corporation was guilty yesterday to Federal charges because it had sold phony apple juice intended for babies and agreed to pay a $2 million fine.
Procter and gamble casePeople by P&G presented themselves as market analysts and used different methods to collect information about Unilever's hair care business. After sometime P&G admitted that the information collectionepisode had indeed taken place, but without the knowledge of the top management.

The Nike was accused of child labor in Pakistan. They were making soccer balls and exploiting childwith the job

Summary

. It is crazy how big coorporates can do some unethical things. I never heard these cases before. It is incredible how people that work for your company can do things thatwill bring that company down. The case that really made me upset was the one of the Tylenol pill because it could have been one of us or maybe my self. Another case that made me really sad was the Nikeone; because I am a really big fan of Nike and now that I know what they did it made me upset because I do not think is the way to treat a child. Maybe one of the nike balls you buy could be made froma child with the same age of yours. This class has helped me to understand society and businesses. I have realized that most of the companies would do whatever it takes to make money. From making achild work the whole day to even kill someone. I believe that companies should always follow the ethical rules because at the long run everything is going to be found out. It is a huge world but we...
