Where is Colombia?
Northern South America, bordered by Venezuela, at east and Brazil; to the south by Ecuador and Peru; to the north by the Caribbean Sea; to the northwest by Panama;and to the west by the Pacific Ocean.
Colombia is the only South American country with coasts on the Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea.
Is recognized worldwide for the production of palmoil, mild coffee, flowers, emeralds, coal, oil and its cultural diversity.
The striking variety in temperature and precipitation results principally from differences in elevation. AtPopayàn, for example, the average annual temperature is 18/20 °C
Colombia is divided into 32 departments. I live in the department of Cauca, in the city of Popayán, known as "the whitecity of Colombia"
Popayán's Historic Downtown is considered one of the most beautiful and best preserved in Colombia and Latin America. Popayán has preserved its colonial architecturefor more than four centuries, a reason why national Colombian and foreign visitors are seduced by its historic downtown.
In my city are very important religious beliefs. Popayán is verybeautiful churches.
