The rainforest is an ecosystem in which there is a wide range of activities, both day and night. This environment is populated by a multitude of animalspecies ranging from worms to insects and jaguars. The people of the trees like monkeys and birds, only occasionally drop to the ground, for all their needsare covered with the resources to provide this vegetation, as their diet is mainly based on fruits and insects.

Many birds make their nests in thebranches of the ceiba and Canchano. The anteater is an inhabitant of the trees, the skill with which it moves through the branches is facilitated by itsprehensile tail. This is also the case of monkeys. Reptiles and amphibians provide food on the floor of the undergrowth, hunting mostly insects and small mammals.The largest inhabitant of rain forests is the jaguar. This cat is an excellent predator, is located on the top of the food pyramid. Sometimes it comesto rest in the branches of trees.

Most animals that live in the jungle with colorful fur or feathers, but in the dense vegetation, animals blend intothe environment, so that in many cases can only be reached by the noises they emit.

The fauna of the rainforest in gral is composed of elephants, tigers, panthers, leopards, frogs, deer, toucans, monkeys,parrots, ferrets, tapirs, jaguars, mountain fox, snakes, crocodiles, peccaries, lizards, bird diversity , insects, reptiles, amphibians, etc.
