Confucio

Nació en el pueblo de Qufu en el antiguo país de Lu, actual provincia de Shandong, en el seno de una familia de terratenientes noble, el clan de los Kong. Su padre murió cuando Confucio tenía tres años y dejó a la familia en la pobreza. Confucio, a pesar de ello, recibió una esmerada educación.Siendo aún joven, trabajó para la administración delEstado de Lu.
