PathTrakTM Carrier to Composite Noise (CCN)

How to Access CCN Feature
Launch Spectrum Analyzer for the desired node in WebView or PathTrak Client Select CCN Function
– Select the CCN button onthe toolbar –or– Select Carrier to Composite Noise under the View menu item

Instructions in this document will reference the PathTrak WebView implementation of the CCN feature CCN interface and usein PathTrak Client are very similar

Basic CCN Settings
Select the center Frequency of the carrier to be measured– Note the shaded region of display will move to reflect new center frequency

Select the Carrier Level of the carrier Select the Standard Select the Symbol Rate and BandWidth of the carrier
–Note the shaded region of display will adjust width reflect BW chosen

Note the shaded region of the Spectrum, it should align with the carrier to be measured after basic settings have been enteredClicking OK after adjusting basic CCN settings will launch CCN display

CCN Display Screen
Carrier / Noise (dB) Latest- Displays Carrier to Noise for last measurement taken (dB) and time captured Average – Average C/N for current CCN session and time last updated Min – Minimum C/N for current CCN session and timecaptured Max – Maximum C/N for current CCN session and time captured

CCN display update frequency will vary with spectrum characteristics
– Noise floor will update 1/sec – Carrier/interferer updateswill vary based on carrier traffic and interferer rates
