The process of communication

The process of communication is very important for my life, because I always need to speak and share my feelings, thoughts, emotions, etc. Communication is definedas a process by which we assign and convey meaning in an attempt to create shared understanding. Use of these processes is developmental and transfers to all areas of life: home, school, community,work, and beyond. It is through communication that collaboration and cooperation occur. I think human beings have evolved through time and so their needs have changed, therefore the way ofcommunicating has been adapted to their life style. For example, in ancient times technology didn´t exist so people communicated through smoke. In the Azteca culture, for sending messages from one place toother, they had messengers that traveled long distances to deliver them; the way the messages were delivered was that a man ran several km then; in strategic spots another man received them and continuedthe way until the recipient. Nowadays, we are used to technology for conveying a message, either through a computer or a mobile phone and we receive the message without waiting more than 2 or 4 daysand we don’t longer have several men running and traveling long ways. On my point of view, I think that the humanity has been improving and searching different forms of communication not only for theirneed of transmitting ideas or feelings but for leaving a cultural background.

The language is the main way of communication used by human beings. Language is primarily spoken, although it canbe transferred to other media, such as writing. One of the characteristics of this kind, is that it has signs, symbols, signals, gestures, etc., with all these you can be have a better understood. Thelanguage is the most important tool in our life, because in all the country’s we have to use the language to communicate a message that we want to transmit o share information about or daily life....
