Configuracion Basica Switch 3Com 4500

# Configuramosuna IP para la Vlan 1 (p. ej. 192.168.1.5):

[4500-Vlan-interface1] quit

# Agregamos una ACL paraingresar via web (ej. acl 2080 para ingresar desde la ip 192.168.1.110):

[4500] ip http acl 2080

[4500] acl number 2080

[4500-acl-basic-2080] rule 0 permit source 192.168.1.110 0[4500-acl-basic-2080] rule 1 deny

[4500-acl-basic-2080] quit

[4500] user-interface vty 0

[4500-ui-vty0] acl 2080 inbound

[4500-ui-vty0] authentication-mode scheme

[4500-ui-vty0] setauthentication password simple xxxx

[4500-ui-vty0] quit

# Configuramos la contraseña del usuario admin:

[4500] local-user admin

[4500-luser-admin] password simple mynewpass

[4500-luser-admin] quit# A partir de aquí ya podemos conectarnos via web poniendo la IP del switch en el navegador, con el usuario y contraseña que configuramos, y la primera tarea imprescindible es guardar laconfiguración del switch;









1.- Connect cable between 3Com switching equipment (RJ45 port) and computer (com1 port). -the cable becomes with switching equipment-.

2.- On computer enablehyperterminal with the next features : 19200, 8, N, 1, hardware.

3.- With hyperterminal window type (ENTER) and type user "admin".

4.- type: system-view (ENTER)

5.- [4500] type: interface vlan 1(ENTER)

6.- [4500-Vlan-interface1] type: ip address 192.68.x.y 255.255.255.0

7.- Press (CTRL+Z) and prompt swap to:

8.- type: save (ENTER)

9.- The configuration will be written to thedevice.
