THE WORLD OF SPORTS

Some sports are popular in some countries, but not in others. Baseball is popular in Japan. The United States, Canada and some Latin Americancountries, but not in France, India or Australia.

The British like to play cricket and rugby and many African countries have cricket teams. But there are only a few cricket and rugby teams in theUnited States. Ice hockey and skiing are popular in North America and Europe, but not in Latin America or Africa.
On the other hand soccer is popular all aver the world, there feer soccer teams in theU.S than in Europe, but soccer is becoming `popular in the USA. A lot of countries have basketball teams. Golf , tennis and volleyball are popular in many countries.
