Corporal communication
The gestures, postures, looks, voice tones and other signs and nonverbal signals are complementary to a language of words, with which we communicate constantly. This receivesthe name of nonverbal communication. A body can be considering as major form of communication, alongside of the letters. The body can tell the stories we have been through. Body expression includes:eye contact, body posture, gestures, legs and feet, body orientation, mouth, body distance voice, hair, smell, touch or skin.
Embodying and corporal expressions are crucial for all processes ofenhancement of action through training, of studying practices in order to get access to tacit and reified knowledge, of establishing know-how by trial and error. Our linguistics capacities have made usforget that we can talk with the body, like the rest of the animals. If a child is subject to a physical or corporal punishment, the child may reason that physical aggression is an effective compliancegaining strategy.
