THE FRENCH REVOLUTION
It is considered one of the most important historical events of Humanity, the French Revolution is so important that has served to distinguish two periods: the moderncontemporary. With it, you close a period in which the great absolute monarchies and kings had all the power to start an era in which Western societies began to build their future from the highest politicaldemocratization.
France in 1789 was the appropriate setting for the outbreak of a violent and very profound revolution that would aim to expand the rights of those who were neglected by the real power.The French Revolution siginfica a very profound change in the political and social change because the Axis powers. However, its consequences are not meant real progress or improvements for society,so conflicts continue to exist for long.
There were three main causes that led to the French Revolution: Social Causes - The French society was divided into three tiers, the first two consisted ofthe clergy and nobility, respectively, the third estate consisted of traders, businessmen, lawyers and real Peasants . Third does not have the same rights and other farms had other privileges.Economic Cause - Third Estate had to pay all taxes imposed by the king as the other states were exempt from it.The prices rose bread, which was the main staple of the people and there was no crisis ofsubsistence.
Immediate Cause - Rumors spread that the king ordered his troops to attack Paris (as people was disgusting) and then from 4000 to 5000 people gathered and formed militia people.
During thereign of Louis XIV The country's economy was ruined, Nobles consequently suffered financial dramas, The clergy did not receive tithes from the people, the bourgeoisie wanted access to public office,the peasants were tired of feudal.
The society was composed of three states called social sectors:
The first stage was the Church
The second estate was the nobility
The third stage comprised 98%...
