SUMMARY
The residual waters are those waters coming from residences, trade and industries, the municipalities are responsible for this contamination they discharge these waters without previoustreatment. The residential residual waters are classified in gray waters (they come from piletas and bathtubs in their biggest part they contain soap), waters black (these coming from toilets and urinals, they contain organic and biological residuals.
The treatment of residual waters is reached by the initial physical separation of the solids of the current of waters you home and industrial, continued by the progressive conversion of biological matter dissolved in to biological mass using appropriate bacterial, generally present in these waters. Once the biological mass is separate or removed, the treated water can experience an additional disinfection by means of chemical or physical processes. In this final efluente it can be discharged or reintroduced to a body of natural water asthey are average, rivers, bays or seas or other terrestrial superficial or underground.
The objective of the treatment is to cause waters clean (or treated efluente) or reutilizable in the atmosphere to residual or mire also convenient for the future purposes or resources. It is very common to call them purification of residual waters to distinguish them of the one Treatment of drinkablewaters.
