How overfishing has a great effect on are ecosystems
The world is confronting a serious problem with global warming. This is very threatening to human life. Many of us are not aware ofthe causes of global warming. We mostly know the more common causes of this problem. If we really want to fix this problem we have to know all the possible solutions to the problem to be able to workon saving are planet. There are many things that play a big role in are ecosystem disbalance. The ocean can only produce 82 million tons of fish per year and still have enough to reproduce.
Before1950 that was just right amount of fish for the world to consume without misbalancing the ecosystem. Today the problem is little more complicated because now there are last boats going out to the oceanto fish and more station. Stations are machine that can stay out on the ocean for I long period of time. The problem with these machines is that they just collect everything that’s around them. Theycollect fishes that are so small that they can’t even be consumed so this small fishes are crushed up and made into animal food or fertilizer. Also they destroy a lot of coral reef causing this fishto lose their way of living and were they reproduce. This is causing a lot more damage that we know of. Reports show that the station catches around 8% of fish that are too small to be consumed.Leaving the ocean with 8% of fishes that cannot reproduce. Not letting fish reproduce can evenly cause the lost of fishes for good. The main sources of the problem come from the North Sea, the east coast ofthe United States and Canada. Also the few boat that do go out to the ocean to catch fish the old fashion way are not even doing it the way they use to. They are now using mesh that are a lot smallerthan they use to be there for creating one of the same problem as the machines, collecting fishes that are too small to consume.
