English Grammar.-

En Inglés, al igual que Español, existen tiempos verbales para expresar la acción realizada por el sujeto en cada tiempo definido.

Ejemplo:
Presente Simple o Habitual

Español Inglés

Yo estudio Química en la Universidad I study Chemistry at the University
Ellos juegan futbol They play soccer
El estudia Química cada día He studIES Chemistryeveryday
Ella juega basketball She playS basketball

Como pueden apreciar, en las personas HE-SHE-IT, el verbo debe tomar S-ES o IES cuando la oración es afirmativa.-

En el caso de las oraciones Negativas e Interrogativas en Inglés, debemos usar los auxiliares DO o DOES, según el pronombre para cambiarlas a la forma respectiva.-

Usamos DOES con los pronombres HE- SHE- IT y lasterminaciones del verbo en afirmativo, deben eliminarse.- Ejemplos:

He Studies Chemistry He DOES NOT STUDY Chemistry
She plays basketball She DOES NOT PLAY basketball
It goES very fast It DOES NOT GO very fast

Los siguientes verbos agregan ES a la forma afirmativa con HE-SHE-IT:

To do does
To go goes
To teach teaches
To wash washes
To watch watches
To mix mixes
To fix fixes
To missmisses

Los siguientes verbos eliminan la Y cambiando a I y agregan ES

To fly flIES
To harry hurrIES
To carry carrIES
To study studies

Pero, los siguientes verbos agregan S solamente en afirmativo con HE-SHE-IT

To buy buyS
To pay payS
To play plays
To say says

B.- Cambiar las siguientes oraciones a Negativo e Interrogativo:

Presente continuo: AM-IS-ARE mas verbo terminado en ING

Se llama presente continuo a una acción que ocurre al momento de hablar o en casi de inmediato.-Ej.

Nosotros estamos estudiando Ingles AHORA
We ARE STUDYING English now

Yo estoy escribiendolas oraciones en este momento
I AM WRITING the sentences at the momento

El está volando a Europa esta tarde
He IS FLYING to Europe this evening

Si queremos cambiarlas a Negativo o Interrogativo, solo se debe agregar NOT a la negativa, y anteponer AM-IS-ARE al sujeto en Interrogativo.

They ARE WATCHING TV now

They are NOT watching TV now

ARE they watching TV now?


Pasadosimple:

Se usa el pasado simple para indicar que una acción comenzó y terminó en un momento definido del pasado.

Ej:-

Yo fui al cine ayer en la tarde
I WENT to the cinema yesterday evening

El fue a la fiesta anoche
He WENT to the party last night

Como pueden apreciar en la oración afirmativa se usa el verbo principal en PASADO (segunda columna de listado de verbos) para todos lospronombres, pero al cambiarlas a negativo o interrogativo, debermos usar el auxiliar DID con todos los pronombres y el verbo vuelve a PRESENTE

He WENT to the party yesterday night
He DID NOT GO to the party yesterday night (negative)
DID he GO to the party yesterday night? (interrogative)


They PLAYED the instruments last Friday
They DID NOT PLAY the instruments last Friday (negative)
DIDthey PLAY the instruments last Friday? (interrogative)

Cambiar a Negativo e Interrogativo:

1.- It rained all night
2.- I ate an apple at breakfast
3.- They ran in the field this morning
4.- You came late this morning
5.- She visited her mother last month
6.- We got a seven in the test
7.- He swam in the ocean last week end
