1) ¿USO DE CADA UNO DE LOS VERBOS MODALES:
El verbo 'can' es usado para expresar o preguntar acerca de posibilidad, como en
En el último apartado, ‘can’ es usado como auxiliar parapreguntar acerca de la posibilidad que tiene alguien de hacer algo. Sin embargo, en ocasiones es preferible usar otros verbos modales, sobre todo cuando se pretende dirigirse de manera más formal y educada. Con tal propósito puede usarse ‘could’, como en los ejemplos siguientes: 
 Could you take me to school? (¿Podrías llevarme a la escuela?)
El verbo ‘may’ puede usarse de la misma manera que‘could’.
El verbo 'might' es usado con el mismo significado que 'could' y 'may', aunque su uso es menos frecuente y es considerado más formal y educado.
Had Better o 'd Better, significan deberías, es más usado en el Reino Unido que en Estados Unidos
* Pronunciación inglesa "hadt better" con una "a" larga y grave, y con una t parecida a la ch.
* Pronunciación americana "had berer" con una "a"corta, y con una "r" del español, reemplazando a la "t".

1) CAN:    
I can do my homework

2)            COULD

Se podría llegar a un Ella

Usted podría bailar en rockola
 Guns n roses could speak sapanish

 3)            MAY
 He may study hard.
Se puede estudiar mucho.
  We may follow the teacher's directions.
Podemosseguir las instrucciones del profesor.
 She may drink a coffee.
Ella puede tomar un café.
  I may go fastly
Puedo ir rápidamente
 You may ask if you don't understand.
Usted puede preguntar si usted no entiende
 4)            MIGHT
He might want a brownie once they're done.
Él puede ser que desee un brownie una vez que haya terminado.
 I might buy a new TV. Mine isn't working properly.Podría comprar un televisor nuevo. El mío no funciona correctamente.
 She might come over tomorrow.
Ella podría venir mañana.
 I might stop by the drug store on the way back home.
Yo podría pasar por la tienda de drogas en el camino de vuelta a casa.
 They might become shoplifters.

 5)            SHOULD
You should be more attentive.

 You shouldn’t catch that train.

 The dog should wait in the street.
El perro debería esperar en la calle.
 6)            SHALL
I shall go to Europe next year
 (Ire a Europa el próximo año)
 he will see dolphins in that beach
(Elverá delfines en esa playa)
 we will buy a new car this weekend.
 (Nosotros compraremos un auto nuevo este fin de semana)

you will not understand the movie
 (No entenderás la pelicula)
 Will they come tomorrow?

 7)            OUGHT
IF YOU'RE ILL, YOU OUGHT NOT GO TO SCHOOL
SI USTED ESTÁ ENFERMO, no deberías ir a la escuela
 There ought to be a law against that.Debería haber una ley en contra de eso.
 You're so pretty, you ought to be in films.
Estás tan bonita, que debería estar en el cine
 She ought not take the bus.
