Ensayo Sobre El Metal

I decided that my topic for this personal anthology project would be metal music and the metal culture in general. So why did I decided to do it on this topic? Well for starters I likemetal and because now this days people don’t appreciate music like they used to do specially here on Mexico were a lot of music like the one from the wachiturros is really just based onsex and parties and how they degrade woman’s. that´s true because it’s not my opinion only I’ve ask around to see if people agreed with me or what do they think about some music that ispopular in Mexico now a days. I asked musicians more than anyone because who knows more about that than they. One of them that is actually my friend said that indeed some of the newmusic is hard to appreciate because it doesn’t give anything good to society, not a good message and not even a good sound and he wanders how this music will affect the future of music. Hesaid that even though he is not a fan of metal music he actually likes it better than a lot of the popular music. People always degrade metal music by saying it only talks about Satanand drugs and how it makes kids make horrible things and become criminals. But if you think about it and read the news from time to time you will find out that most of the reggae tonmusicians are the ones that end up raping many girls, I am not saying that in metal musicians don’t get arrested for crimes as well, but I am saying that in the many years that metal has beenaround there has not been as many crimes from metal musicians as it has been from reggae ton and the wachiturros and they are very recent types of music. But leaving all things a sidepeople say that if you listen to metal you are satanic because that is the only thing they talk about, so if that is true then if you listen to reggae ton … then what does that make you?
