I live in Hamden, Connecticut.
2. What are the mostimportant monuments in your city?
I live in a town, and it doesn’t have many very important monuments, however the most important one would be the Veteran’s memorial. Which is a monument listing allof the veterans who have died fighting in wars in the U.S.

The capital of Connecticut is Hartford

The Governor of Connecticut is M. Jodi Rell.

The official residence of the president is The White House,which is located in the capital of the United States; Washington D.C.

You must be 18 years old to vote in the U.S.A.

The first president of U.S.A. was George Washington.

On the 4th of July we celebrate our independence as a nation from Great Britain, it iscalled ‘’Independence Day’’.

The national Anthem of the U.S.A. is ‘’The Star Spangled Banner’’. It was written in 1814 by Francis Scottkey.

The American Flag has three colors : Red, White and Blue.

There are fifty stars on the American Flag.
