Esio Trot - Ingles

Mr. Hoppy lived alone in a small flat in a tall building. He had two loves: the flowers he grew on his balcony and a widow and an attractive lady called Mrs. Silver.
She lived alone in the balconybelow Mr. Hoppy. He had loved her for many years, but he was a very shy man.
They exchanged polite conversation from balcony to balcony.
She had a tortoise called Alfie and every day Mr. Hoppy sawMrs. Silver whispering endearments to Alfie and stroking his shell and he felt absurdly jealous.
She fed him with lettuce, tomato and crispy celery, Alfie hibernated in winter in his house with dryhay, he deep under the hay for months without food or water.
One morning Mrs. Silver said to Mr. Hoppy she really wished Alfie would grow faster. He said he know how to make tortoise grow fasterthinking it was his big chance.
He gave her a paper with a lot of magic’s words and said “its tortoise language. The tortoises are backward creatures and they understand only the words written backwards”.The words list began with ESio Trot. It spelled backward was simply tortoise. The others words were asking Alfie to get bigger.
He said she have to hold Alfie up to her face and whisper the wordsthree times a day.
Then Mr. Hoppy moved his furniture and covered his living room’s carpet with a canvas he bought. After that he visited each pet shop in the city and bought one hundred and fortydarker shelled tortoises all sort of different size.
Mr. Hoppy had been a mechanic and he made a tube with claws to pick up a tortoise from his balcony. He called it “tortoise’s catcher”.
Mrs. Silverhad a part time job and in the first afternoon she had gone to work Mr. Hoppy leaned over the balcony railings and with his tortoise catcher he hauled Alfie up on to his balcony.
He weighted Alfie . Itwas thirteen ounces. Then he found through his huge collection of tortoises one with same colors shell as Alfie’s and weighing two more ounces. The difference had to be so small that Mrs. Silver...
