I. INTRODUCTION:
* Thesis: Both Emily and Henry experience the common themes of alienation and exile. Emily is purposely out casted from the community by her family’s archaic arrogance at firstbut then by her own arrogance, whilst Henry is out casted due to the post traumatic stress he now suffers from due to the war in Vietnam, and the difficult reintegration he now faces into everydaynormal life. Emily chooses to purposely become a shut in after her father dies and she poisons her lover, and on the other hand Henry refuses to speak or interact with his own family.
II. BODY PARAGRAPH1:
