OBJECTIVE
Our objective is to know how a radio works and how every part of it works.

QUESTION
Would the radio transmit the same as loud and clear if it’s moved from its original place?VARIABLES AND HYPOTHESIS
The height, the length and the location of the radio’s antenna.
Our hypothesis is that if the height is bigger, the antenna will catch better the radio waves, and if it is movedfrom location, it will depend if a something that obstructs the reception.

BACKGROUND RESEARCH
In this experiment we are going to test how useful an antenna is, how the procedure is the radiowaves have to pass to convert into sound waves and how every part of the radio works.
Radio means sending energy with waves, without using wires. The sound waves are transformed into radioelectromagnetic waves, so they can travel faster, longer, and without being greatly attenuated. The radio receives the waves, and transforms them into sound waves again.
An antenna is made of a collection ofconductors that change radio waves into electricity, and then it uses this electricity to manipulate energy down a circuit box.
To convert waves into AM waves, they need an unmodulated signal; a signalwith no changes and equal in every wave, and then change the amplitude of each wave to make the message, and in the FM waves, they do the same, but instead of changing its amplitude, they change itsfrequency.
A radio consist in an electric circuit which can filter a tiny current, an antenna that produces this current and speakers, where electromagnetic waves are transformed into sound.
GuillermoMarconi built the first radio device in 1895, and in 1901 he succeeded on transmitting radio waves to the other side of the Atlantic.
