BIOFUELS
Biodisel: Biodiesel is an alternative fuel that is similar to fossil diesel. (ESRU) Bioediesel is produced from vegetable oil, animal fats and waste cookingoil. To convert these oils into Biodiesel a process called transesterification is needed. This process is the most economical process requiring low temperatures and pressuresand producing 98% conversion yield. The whole process is the reaction of a triglyceride (fats and oils) with alcochol to form esters (biodiesel) and glycerol. Thetriglyceride reacts to alcohol to form biodiesel and glycerol. Of course biodiesel can be used instead of fossil diesel for trucks and some other cars, it can also be used aslubricating additive for cars and even to heat houses. Biodiesel has many environmental advantages compared with fossil fuels. Biodiesel produces no output of carbon dioxide, isbiodegradable and non-toxic.

Biogas: is the product of the decomposition of organic matter without oxygen. It is made up of 50-80% methane, 20-50% carbon dioxide and some gases such as hydrogen,carbon monoxide and nitrogen. Biogas is produced by rotting plants and vegetables that eventually produce gas. Biogas is used for different things such as for electricity,heat and steam, chemical production and fuel for cars. Biogas is considered CO2 neutral and therefore does not emit other gases responsible for the Greenhouse effect asfossil fuels do.
