A passive construction occurs when you make the object of an action into the subject of a sentence. That is, whoever or whatever is performing the action is not the grammaticalsubject of the sentence.
* Passive voice is used when the focus is on the action. It is not important or not known; however, who or what is performing the action.
You can havepassive verbs in all the different tenses; we will start with the present simple.

FORMS OF PASSIVE VOICE
AFFIRMATIVE:
Subject +finite form of to be +past participle
Example: Mysister lost the keys.
Mi Hermana perdio las llaves

NEGATIVE;
Subject + (I am, is, are) not + past participle + …
Example: Animals aren’t sold in this shop
No se venden animalsen esta tienda

INTERROGATIVE:
(I am, is, are)+subject past participle+…
Example: Is the three made of bills?
¿Este árbol está hecho de billetes?

El pastel fue comido por ellos
2.-The room was painted by my father.
La habitación fue pintada por mi padre
3.- The children were taught by their teacher.Los niños fueron enseñados por su maestro
4.- My friends were punished by the police.
Mis amigos fueron castigados por la policia
5.- My homework wasn’t made by a friend.
Latarea no fue hecha por un amigo
6.- The car wasn’t washed by my brother.
El carro no fue lavado por mi hermano
